So we went to waterville vally this weekend, and while we were there we took a look at some places for our wedding/reception. we're pretty sure we've got the place we want, its amazing and awsome and affordable and the lady running it seems to know her stuff, here is the photobucket album with info/video on how it all fits together, no inside shots of the resturant cause im dumb and forgot to take pics when we were actualy in there and its closed untill next week, so this is all you get. lol.

ok so, i go to walmart tonight to get a TV for our computer room, not only do i see a nice 20 in w/a dvd player on clearance for $75, but right next to it is a lexmark 3470 scanner/copier/printer for $25. and our last printer was being flakey, so i got it. i get it home and there is what appears to be a mechanical problem with it, so i call lexmark tech support. after about 5 min of questions she says "ok, what is your address so we can ship you your new printer." so essentaly i just got a brand new $100 printer for $25 to be shipped to my house in 3-4 days. sweeeeeet.

btw the new apt rules, maybe pics to come, if im not lazy. HA!

ok so heres the deal. went to harvard this weekend w/kat for vericon, your typical dork con. it was great, deatails later maybe... more importantly, there was a game of capture the flag going on, and i ran around a corner straight into a 6'3 guy, and apparently broke my hand. yup thats right, broke my hand at a con playing capture the flag. im that hardcore! its broken enough where the doc thinks ill need surgury to put a plate in.(EDIT: doc now says that may not be nessicary, ill know for sure in 2 weeks) basicaly it broke like a toothpick, where its kinda layered so the cant set it w/out a plate (unless the break stays in the right place, hence the 2 week wait). yea thats about it... so thats my story for my first broken bone! lol and typing w/1 hand ~~sucjs~~....~~sycks~~....sucks. night.

note: this is my edited version, because i dont belive posting something saying "dont do this amazingly obvious thing" is helpfull. im posting the ones that i think matter. if you want the full version to post it let me know, if you like my version better than the other one that lists stuff like.. the other problem i have with the full version is that it at least once uses "drunk girl" as a SYNONYM for "unwilling girl"( "dont let your friend brag about having sex with the drunk girl") which is bullshit. now I AM NOT SAYING that taking advantage of a drunk girl is ok, and when a drunk girl says no it still means no goddamnit, however im saying its used as THE SAME thing, and its not, it CAN be, but just because you regret what you wake up to in the morning does not make it rape,I know quite a few girls who go out and get drunk and have sex, they are not raped just because they are drunk at the time, it doesnt work that way, also note i left the one about the passed out girl in there, that is still very very wrong. If a friend tells you about how she got back at a guy by lying and saying he raped her, report her to the police and tell her shes just as bad as a rapist
DONT perpetuate a culture where rape reports are doubted because some horrible women use it as a punishment. You can help get rapes taken more seriously by helping eleminate false reportings.

alrighty thats my opinion on the subject.... incase i havent made it abundantly clear... men who think its cool and ok to rape women are just as bad as women who think its ok to claim rape as revenge/punishment/whatever false reason. NOT women who are actualy raped, JUST the ones who lie about it, they are a large part of why rapes arnt always taken seriously. and i totaly agree with everything in the first section that men can do, im saying both of these things are the SAME. not that women need to do this more than men, or anything like that, its an equivelent.
